Politically correct is for Soccer Moms, for the rest of us there is Unleashed: Outrageous posts, hysterical video and products...combined with controversy, anger, madness and absolutely horrible drawings. You either LOVE US OR LOATHE US.

amishemail.jpg“Talk to the beard, cause I ain’t listening”. That was an Unleashed interpretation of what was said by Jacob Gingerich, Levi Zook and Emanuel Yoder to Mayfield, KY police when their buggy was pulled over for no lights.

Apparently the Amish were riding late night and police pulled them over, because their buggy was unsafe (no lights). The Amish are stating they can’t have lights as it violates their religious freedoms while the courts are saying they need them for safety. They can either have lights on the buggy or a flashing symbol to ensure safety.

Now I love the Amish. They make great soft pretzels, inspired the band ZZ TOP and aided Harris Ford in The Witness, but get some lights and/or drive during the day. Oh also loved them in Kingpin movie.

When asked about the safety issue, Jacob Gingerich, had this to comment.
“I have trust in God, not in a symbol,” Gingerich said Monday during the trial. “I have concern for my family. I have concern for safety on the highway. I stay to the right as much as I can and let cars pass. But I put my trust in God.”
HEY JACOB, GOD MAY LIKE YOU, but what about the rest of us.
Well if the Amish want to go down in a blaze of glory, getting hit by an 18-wheeler one night that’s fine by me, as long as no other innocent people get killed. Here is the full story: http://www.620ktar.com/index.php?nid=331&sid=702437
